ABOUT me
Hi, my name is Peter Davis, and I’m a sophomore studying sports media at Indiana University.
My journey in photography began as the team photographer for my high school’s men’s lacrosse team. I spent a year and a semester studying and swimming at Emory & Henry University, where I served as a gameday photographer for the athletic communications department. During that time, I covered all home games across the university’s 25 varsity sports, working especially closely with the football team. That experience helped me discover my passion for photographing the sport.
Over the past year and a half, I’ve honed my skills and deepened my understanding of photography—not just as an art form, but as a powerful tool for storytelling. Whether capturing the intensity of the game, the emotions of players and coaches, or the energy of the fans, I strive to document the full spectrum of each event’s atmosphere.
As I advance in my career, I am committed to surrounding myself with talented creatives who push me to improve. I believe that growth happens when you challenge yourself in environments where you are constantly learning from those with more experience.
