ABOUT me
Hi, my name is Peter Davis, and I’m a sophomore studying sports media at Indiana University.
My journey in photography began as the team photographer for my high school’s men’s lacrosse team. At Emory & Henry, I served as a gameday photographer for the athletic communications department, covering all home games across the university’s 25 varsity sports. I’ve had the privilege of working especially closely with the football team, which has helped me find my passion for photographing the sport.
Over the past year and a half, I’ve honed my skills and gained a deeper understanding of photography—not just as an art form, but as a powerful tool for storytelling. Whether capturing the intensity of the game, the emotions of the players and coaches, or the energy of the fans, I strive to document the full spectrum of each event’s atmosphere.
As I progress in my career, I’m committed to surrounding myself with creatives who are more talented than me. I believe in pushing myself to always be the least experienced in the room because growth happens when you’re in the company of those who elevate your potential.
